Charles Schwab Manager, Software Development & Engineering in Westlake, Texas

Duties : Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs; application development & maintenance of Schwab applications with contribution in every stage of software development lifecycle including Initiation, Planning, Design, Development, Testing and Release to production; execute optimization and performance improvements of the applications; Development of Automated unit /integration test frameworks; and application monitoring post production release. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $144,200 to $214,700 per year

What you have

Job Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Engineering (Any), or a related field and 6 years of progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience in a related occupation.

Experience must include the following: Develop applications using Dot Net framework, C#.Net, Web Api, MVC, Dotnet Core, or WCF; Build REST services that support high volume transactions in highly available environments; Develop SQL or NoSQL solutions using SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or Hadoop; Fully support all development phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC); and Develop CI/CD pipelines to deploy code using Azure.
