Olivia Quinlan from Robert Half is hiring a Software Developer for a Rochester, NY based company. This permanent position entails various responsibilities in software development, encompassing primarily backend development and database management with some front-end development as well. Responsibilities include developing, testing, and implementing new software programs utilizing tools such as Apache Struts, Backend Development, C++, and Database. Additionally, the role involves designing and updating software databases, ensuring system security and integrity. The candidate will analyze user needs and software requirements to determine design feasibility within time and budget constraints. Coordination of software system installation and monitoring equipment functionality to ensure specifications are met is also part of the role. Collaboration with other developers and software professionals is essential to understand and contribute to software system updates and improvements. The successful candidate will utilize tools such as EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Ajax, and API Development for efficient software development and problem-solving. Proficiency in handling ASP.NET and CSS for web application development and design is required. Furthermore, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring software functions normally through maintenance and testing, as well as documenting every aspect of the application or system as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades. Requirements

• Applicant must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer.

• Proficiency in ASP.NET, Apache Struts is necessary.

• Experience in Backend Development is required.

• Knowledge of C++, database management systems, EO/IR systems is a requirement.

• Proficiency in AB Testing, Ajax, API Development is a must.

• Knowledge of CSS is also necessary for this position.
