SelectTech has experienced tremendous growth in its airworthy roll-on roll-off transportation systems and is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Configuration Manager to join a mission focused team. The Configuration Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of configuration management for all our product lines. This includes establishing and maintaining configuration management processes, procedures, and standards within existing AS9100/ISO9001 processes to ensure the integrity and traceability of all configurations throughout their lifecycle. Essential Functions Develop and implement configuration management plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the specific needs of the organization and its projects. Establish and maintain configuration baselines for all relevant products, ensuring accurate documentation of configuration items (CIs), their attributes, and relationships. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and operations, to capture, document, and manage changes to configuration items. Conduct configuration audits and reviews to verify compliance with established standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Manage the configuration control board (CCB) process, including reviewing proposed changes, assessing their impact, and making recommendations for approval or rejection. Monitor and track the status of configuration items throughout their lifecycle, from initial design and development through testing, deployment, and maintenance. Implement and maintain configuration management tools and systems to support the configuration management process and ensure data accuracy and integrity. Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on configuration management principles, practices, and tools. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in configuration management, preferably in aerospace and defense industry. Strong understanding of configuration management principles, processes, and best practices. Experience with configuration management tools and software. Experience working with Hardware and Software Configuration Items. Experience working within AS9100 and ISO9001. Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Certification in configuration management (e.g., CMII, CMIIC, CMCIP, NDIA Specialist or Manager Level). Experience with setting up and maintaining an internal CSA database and reporting system. Knowledge of EIA-649, EIA 649-1, IEEE 828, and MIL-HDBK-61. Experience in data management and a duel CM/DM role. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
