Job Summary and Qualifications

The Physical Therapist (PT) provides high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of therapeutic care of an assigned group of patients in coordination with the physician and the patient care team. The Physical Therapist completes patient assessments and participates in developing and implementing individualized care plans focusing on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive patient experience. The Physical Therapist provides or directs a majority of the patient’s physical therapy to support patients throughout the continuum of care.

What you will do in this role:

• Perform wound evaluation

• Perform sharp debridement of devitalized tissue

• Apply negative pressure wound therapy

• Select appropriate wound dressings to manage exudate, decrease bioburden or control edema

• Assess vascular status

• Recommend products for proper offloading of wound area

• Provide Patient and staff education regarding wound care

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia

• Bachelors Degree

• Previous wound care experience preferred
