Data Engineer Analyst I - JR2414269

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: PPG Industries, Inc., headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, has a work-at-home Data Engineer Analyst position (with the ability to telecommute with appropriate telecommuting systems; the remote worksite must be within commuting distance of Pittsburgh, PA for weekly trips to the corporate office) responsible for developing and building AI/ML model-ready data ponds. Specific duties include: (i) improving data ingestion models, ETL jobs, and alarms to maintain data integrity and data availability; (ii) writing complex and efficient queries to transform conventional data sources into easily accessible models; and (iii) identifying data needs for rapid experimentation and stable production deployment.

Must have a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position.

Experience must include: (i) five (5) years with data analysis and data engineering; (ii) five (5) years with data modeling, data processing, and data warehousing; (iii) five (5) years with SQL/PL SQL development; and (iv) three (3) years developing ETL pipelines to design, map, configure, and process data.

Experience can be concurrent.
