About the Team:

The Solution Services Director of Data Quality and Risk Surveillance (DQRS) will lead the a team of implementation consultants and project managers that delivers implementation and enablement services for Medidata's DQRS products. Using your Clinical Operations or Data Management clinical trial experience, you will work with the team to assist our clients adopt our Products including Detect and Clinical Data Studio.You will report to the Data Quality and Risk Surveillance Solution Services Principal and will be fully remote.

Responsibilities:

Manage a team responsible for complex projects with a focus on delivery of the project on time, within budget and with documented client satisfaction.
Responsible for team members maintaining high client and internal team member satisfaction by providing issue management and risk mitigation across ongoing projects
Provide input and direction into Professional Services proposals and support prospecting activities across market segments
Develop client and internal relationships as "trusted advisor for the product" through proactive relationship management
Maintain product knowledge and ability to demonstrate knowledge through the delivery of workshops and other consultancy activities
Work with Product management on product improvements and help provide the Voice Of the Customer (VOC)
Provide mentorship and support to team members to help increase knowledge of the product and better implementation across clients
Collaborate with Product Adoption leads to ensure that the PS service offerings are optimized and budgeted correctly.
Review processes with the team to ensure compliance with Medidata's standard methodologies and Medidata SOPs
Experience and comfort with public speaking, presenting and teaching teams processes and requirements
Proficient in the use of all relevant Medidata internal systems
Travel expectations up to 40% - 50%, national / international
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required
10+ years relevant experience in clinical operations or data management of clinical trials
2-5 Years line management experience
Electronic Clinical Data Management (eCDM) software experience desirable
Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS) software experience desirable

As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location.

  • The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the NYC Metro Area is $135,000-180,000.
  • The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the California Bay Area is $141,750-189,000.
  • The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the Boston Metro Area is $132,750-177,000.

  • The salary range for positions that will be physically based in Texas or Ohio is $118,500-158,000.

  • The salary range for positions that will be physically based in all other locations within the United States is $120,750-164,227.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
