Bright Horizons Research Assistant, EdAssist Consulting Solutions (Remote) in Newton, Massachusetts
The Research Assistant for the EdAssist Consulting Solutions Team is an Internship making sure that the information in team data repositories is current, organized, and accurate. They gather the data from client workforce education policies, databases, spreadsheets, and other documents and organize it in spreadsheets and document files. The Research Assistant will also need to request and collect data from consultants and other team members within the organization. This is a temporary role ranging from 12-16 weeks (flexible on minimum number of weeks). The Research Assistant role is also Part Time , with flexible hours ranging from 20-30 hours a week within Eastern Time business hours. This role is fully remote .
What you will be doing:
Part Time Internship, flexible days. 20-30 hours a week within Eastern Time business hours
Collects data from online databases, webpages, spreadsheets, and documents
Reads and interprets technical writing such as that found in policies and contracts
Communicates clearly and professionally with subject matter experts and team leads
Enters and maintains data in spreadsheets, document matrices, Teams/SharePoint folder structures, and other digital storage solutions
Performs administrative tasks such as requesting and managing data from a team of analyst/consultants
What we hope you will bring to this role:
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred, Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
1-2 years of experience preferred
Ability to follow detailed instructions for data collection
Ability to read and interpret technical writing (training will be provided)
Ability to find errors in documentation and bring those errors to the attention of a supervisor
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and an interest in continued knowledge of technology as it evolves
Intermediate to advanced levels of Microsoft Excel proficiency
Comfort with performing and completing tasks on time without close guidance or supervision
Evidence of excellent organization skills
Evidence of communication skills in verbal and written formats
Experience working with distance teams/work from home settings preferred
Compensation Range:
The hourly rate for this role is: $17 / hour
