The pay range per hour is $19.62 - $35.29

As so much more than a behind-the-scenes team member, you will be an important partner to ensure all of Target stores are compliant and ready to service our guests. You will bring your curiosity, attention to detail, and problem solving to the Field Compliance Team.

A role in the licensing team means you are an integral player to lead Target's unparalleled shopping experience. Ensure that all stores have their required licenses to remain compliant and to serve our guests, from general business, food, to adult beverage. You'll bring your high level of detail and organization, extreme curiosity and problem solving, love for gathering of information, and passion for the work. Within Licensing, you'll enjoy the interesting challenges of providing all required documents and payments to the many government agencies we deal with every day. You'll help Target succeed in current and new product strategies and see your contributions come to life at all stores existing and new. And you'll grow and be challenged every day while having a healthy balance with life outside of work.

As the Licensing Specialist, on occasion you will be required to support Licensing Analysts in maintaining city, county and state license renewals as assigned and required by jurisdictions, accurately and on time. Communicate and partner effectively with entire licensing team, other Target business partners, external partners, and government agencies. Manage large number of documents and upload electronic files to appropriate applications for oneself and entire team. Highly organized to open mail, scan and upload documents, and other support as needed. Strong team player and support partner to ensure all work, for new and renewals, are done on time to ensure all stores are ready and compliant. Learn and utilize all processes and systems, keeping information accurate and safe as required. Ability to organize and prioritize work, mitigate risk to ensure stores are operational and protect Target information.

About you:

  • Post High School education or equivalent work experience

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to facilitate meetings, resolve conflict, build consensus, establish rapport and collaborate both internally and externally across an organization and escalate to leadership as needed.

  • Deadline driven and able to effectively prioritize

  • High level of attention to detail and organization

  • PC experience with knowledge of; Excel, Outlook, Word, Smart Sheet, OneNote
