We are seeking a talented individual for a Software Developer who fulfills an important role within the organization’s Operations (“Ops”) team. For individuals who are successful in carrying out the responsibilities assigned, the position provides a platform to gain broad experience towards further career development. Core functions of the role require a developer with Sql Server experience and VB.net and/or C# skills who is driven and team oriented, since the success of the organization’s general development group relies on the ability of team members who work well individually and in small targeted teams. The Software Developer reports to the Developer Manager.
Timely development and delivery of high-quality software
Contribution to nimble development teams responsible for the integration and implementation of web-based application using SQL server
Development of UI interfaces to ensure cross-platform browser compatibility and consistency,
Basic testing of new software versions and enhancements for functionality.
Constant collaboration with other members of the development team to ensure all application changes align with company objectives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong database development skills using MS SQL Server (2008 to the current version), stored procedures, data abstraction layers and best practices
Knowledge of and experience in full-development lifecycle of ASP. NET. Our software is written in both C# and VB.NET – deep experience in one and working knowledge of the other is required.
Customer service oriented, team oriented with good communication skills
Understanding of .Net Web Forms
Understanding of MVC/MVVM architecture pattern
Understanding the design and implementation of SOAP and RESTful API services.
Strong analytical, problem solving, planning and organization skills
Agile and Scrum process experience
Skill in transforming mockups into high-performance application interfaces that meet or exceed design and technical specifications
Understanding of current web application UI trends, frameworks, and best practices
Ability to work effectively on multiple projects under tight schedules
Work Conditions and Physical Demands:
Primarily sedentary work in a general office environment
Ability to communicate and exchange information
Ability to comprehend and interpret documents and data
Requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, and moving objects (up to 10 lbs.)
Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone and peripherals
May be required to work extended hours for special business needs
May be required to travel as much as 10% of time based on business needs
- The knowledge typically acquired during the course of attaining a Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field is required. A combination of education and experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
Minimum Related Work Experience:
Three plus years in full-stack Microsoft web development, including SQL Server
Healthcare Industry experience desirable but not required
