As a member of our fast-growing AI Practice, you’ll work across Avanade's Data & AI Solution area to build and deploy bespoke, advanced AI solutions for some of the world's leading businesses. Our team work across a range of industries building solutions at the cutting edge of Generative AI, NLP, Computer Vision, IoT, ML, AI, and Deep Learning. What you’ll do

• Assess client requirements and understand the business problem, challenge of existing technologies and areas of application for AI technologies.

• Program leadership including delivery team leadership and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle

• Advise on optimal cloud technologies relevant for developing and deploying AI solutions.

• Prototype applications applying formulated AI designs and verify the problem/solution fit working with data scientists and software engineers in a collaborative mode.

• Industrialise solutions, scaling and securing them to ensure they are enterprise grade from a security, governance, performance and management perspective.

Skills and experiences

• Experience in developing cloud applications running on Microsoft Azure, as well as use of some of the Azure AI product stack including but not limited to Azure AI Search, Azure AI Vision, Azure AI Studio and Azure AI Speech.

• Basic understanding across the AI fields (Generative AI, Computer Vision, NLP, Optimization, Time-Series, Expert Systems, Deep Learning, etc.) As well as good understanding of the Data Science model development lifecycle (Data understanding, Data cleaning, Feature engineering, Model training, Evaluation and Monitoring).

• Experience with the use and integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT 3.x / 4.x.

• Understanding of AI governance, including ethical considerations, compliance with regulatory standards, and the management of AI risks and impacts

• Basic understanding of the Microsoft Copilot Landscape, including an understanding of the capabilities of existing products within the ecosystem such as Microsoft Copilot for 365. Familiarity with the extensibility frameworks surrounding these products, such as Copilot Studio and Microsoft Graph extensibility, is also advantageous.

• Experience with DevOps stacks: version control, GitFlow, CI/CD, etc. and in making deployments secure and scalable by applying proper development patterns, as well as experience in container-based deployments using Kubernetes or similar technology.

• Experience with Python 3.x is required. Familiarity with Large Language Models Orchestration Frameworks such as Langchain, Semantic Index, and LLamaIndex is also highly advantageous.
