We are seeking a talented individual for a HR Specialist who develops and coordinates activities in functional areas of a human resources department, which may include recruitment and employment, HR records, employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, organization development and training.
Manage and administer assigned projects and programs in support of HR strategic objectives.
Develop, review, and revises policies and procedures for one or more HR processes.
Conduct research and analysis on HR initiatives and to assess effectiveness of initiatives.
Provide training to leadership and employees on HR related topics.
Provide advice and counsel to managers and staff regarding HR services, practices, policies and procedures.
Support and manage vendor relationships.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to be careful and thorough about detail.
Ability to analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems.
Ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
Ability to present to both small and large audiences.
Average manual dexterity in use of a PC, phone, sorting, filing and other office machines.
Moderate level of travel required, sometimes on short notice
Work Conditions and Physical Demands:
Primarily sedentary work in a general office environment
Ability to communicate and exchange information
Ability to comprehend and interpret documents and data
Requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, and moving objects (up to 10 lbs.)
Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone and peripherals
May be required to work extended hours for special business needs
May be required to travel at least 10% of time based on business needs
- If applicable, certification in HR discipline is desired (PHR, SPHR, CCP)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
Minimum Related Work Experience:
- 3 years related work experience
