We are seeking a talented individual for a Proposal Coordinator who coordinates the development of proposals from start to finish, working with other team members and subject experts to gather information and provide high-quality proposal responses. Lead service or solution-specific proposal initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Research, identify and summarize relevant opportunities using multiple sources and tools

  • Participate in proposal planning, strategy, work sessions, and reviews, and coordinate meetings and other events.

  • Coordinate proposal development in accordance with department procedures, with demonstrated ability to accurately analyze and assess RFP requirements, develop comprehensive Proposal Management Plan, and work collaboratively with team members, subject matter experts, other proposal contributors, and executives throughout the proposal development process

  • Support initiatives across the company as both an individual contributor and as part of a larger team, completing assignments on time

  • For assigned solutions, lead proposal initiatives in accordance with department processes and best practices, with a demonstrated ability to identify appropriate content, as well as content gaps, ensuring the timely submission of accurate and compliant responses

  • Customize existing content to reflect specific client requirements within required timeframes, while identifying requirements for new content.

  • Research proposal responses with internal subject experts and analyze responses to individual requirements to evaluate compliance with RFP requirements and department and company standards

  • Maintain well-organized electronic documentation of proposal activities.

  • Develop and apply subject matter expertise in assigned product and/or service lines and markets

Work Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Primarily sedentary work in a general office environment

  • Ability to communicate and exchange information

  • Ability to comprehend and interpret documents and data

  • Requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, and moving objects (up to 10 lbs.)

  • Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone and peripherals

  • May be required to work extended hours for special business needs

  • May be required to travel at least 10% of time based on business needs

Minimum Education:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required

Minimum Related Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or related field preferred

  • 2 – 5 years of experience in proposal management/production management or project management experience

  • Healthcare experience preferred
