We are seeking a talented individual for a Junior IT Disaster Recovery Administrator position who will be responsible for supporting overall technical resilience by managing risks that could seriously affect IT Services.
Manage the maintenance and testing of policies, procedures, and collaborate with business and IT teams to identify and plan mitigation efforts, recovery strategies and necessary resources to execute recovery procedures
Coordinate with other IT business units to keep technical run books up to date at all times
Coordinate actual, scenario-driven disaster recovery (DR) exercises as well as simulated exercises with business and technical staff
Assess the impact of all changes on IT Disaster Recovery plans
Work with the IT Disaster Recovery Administrator to coordinate functional workshops to develop process maps, procedures, methods and other associated process documentation encompassing a comprehensive IT Disaster Recovery program
Collect and organize information about current systems including applications, hardware, network and infrastructure as well as their dependencies to populate in the CMDB
Actively coordinate testing schedules, objectives, exercises and reviews
Obtain and leverage production system knowledge for continual improvement of Disaster Recovery documentation and planning
Provide support during incidents, widespread outages, disasters or crises that have the potential to require activation of response plans
Ensure newly introduced applications are prioritized appropriately and DR plans are created Maintenance of DR online repository
Work with IT Business Resiliency team to understand RTO/RPO for critical business functions and related technology
Work with other IT departments determine RTO/RPO recoverability options work with the IT DR Administrator to present recoverability options to business partners

Work Conditions and Physical Demands:
- Primarily sedentary work in a general office environment
- BA/BS Preferred or equivalent job experience
- ITIL Foundations Preferred
Minimum Related Work Experience:
2 Years of experience working in a Disaster Recovery capacity strongly preferred
2 Years of experience in various areas of IT preferred
