Job Description

Regional Vice President of Operations Automation and Intelligence. This position is in Tomball, TX

Responsible for building functional areas for a geographic region to improve customer experience, employee well-being & engagement, growth, and profitability. Full regional P&L ownership. Directly lead all Project Managers, Program Managers, and administrative staff. The RVP will be responsible for their region's A&I office(s), reporting directly to the President of Automation & Intelligence.

  • Responsible for holding a regular meeting cadence with each functional team, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment.

  • Accountable for managing the financial and execution risks across the project portfolio within their region and presenting the risk profile to the senior leadership team.

  • Actively participate in project scheduling and forecasting meetings with operations to achieve revenue and EBITDA targets every period.

  • Ensure timely completion of projects through detailed processes, reporting, and communication with the delivery team.

  • Ensure project profitability through scope management and use of change orders when appropriate.

  • Set market pricing with the estimation team to maximize profitable growth.

  • Develop an estimation review cadence with sales and project managers to quickly identify systemic estimation failures or additional training requirements.

  • Integration with Contract Administrator to negotiate terms with customers, communicate acceptable risk to the legal department, and ensure timely version turns to meet customers’ needs.

  • Supervise and implement company standards of excellence, including safety, integrity, preparedness, appearance, timeliness, etc., for all direct and indirect regional team members.

  • Collaborate and coordinate with operations through participation in operations and service update calls.

  • Provide input and alignment with operational and strategic goals and process refinement/improvement initiatives.

  • Actively participate in Sales and Operational Planning meetings for capacity planning and production planning meetings for scheduling/prioritizing work across A&I.

  • Drive cross-selling and repeat customer project sales through project managers and service teams.

  • Coordinate sales efforts with Regional Sales Managers and Account Executives.

  • Manage regional overhead expenses.

  • Leading cultural alignment and engagement, including holiday parties, company picnics, etc.

  • Employee turnover management reduction with functional owners.

  • Crucial relationship ownership, including Inframark O&M & MUD relationship interaction monthly.

  • Lead quarterly reviews with the A&I Executive Leadership Team and functional areas.

  • Regional financial performance

  • Identify market expansion opportunities.

  • Identify the competencies (e.g., electricians) and certifications (CISA, Siemens Gold, UL, etc.) required to expand the market.

  • Identify acquisition opportunities.

  • Conduct competitive analysis with sales and the PM team.

Education, experience , and skills

Education/Experience : BS/MS is preferred. Proven experience in a related field industry with dynamic management experience.
