 VRX Inc. is a national award-winning woman owned civil engineering firm with offices in New York, Texas and Oklahoma and is seeking Construction Inspector Engineer for upcoming projects working for TxDOT in the Houston Area. 

The CEI Professional Engineer will be handling the onsite construction and project management of several on-going highway, tollway and bridge projects with VRX, Inc. The job requires transportation construction management specific experience.

Responsibilities/ Qualifications

• Project Management / Construction Management Experience of 2-10 years

• Transportation Specific experience required (specifically with TxDOT and Harris County Tollway Authority or the North Texas Tollway Authority)

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

• Position is located in the Houston, TX Area

• Ability to direct and work with inspection staff

• Consulting Business Development Skills to be utilized in procuring new contracts with TxDOT, NTTA, Harris County Tollway, Airports in Houston and must possess the ability to network with other Prime Engineering Firms for partnering on future transportation contracts.

• Must have the ability to deal and communicate effectively with Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Testing Labs and various other on-site personnel.

• Aggressive attention to detail, time management and organizational skills required.
