Starting Salary:\$28.61\$29.93(depending on experience)

About this Position

The Employee Development Coordinator administers employee trainings and organizational programs through diverse avenues to provide learning and professional growth opportunities that align with the Citys Core Values and enhance the organizations ability to achieve its mission. This talent development coordinator position requires daily use of various software programs and frequent use of audio/video equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and provide training and development programs utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and formats
  • Coordinate with external training resources/vendors to offer learning opportunities and programs
  • Manage the Citys Internship Program and complete the employment process for interns
  • Utilizing HRIS software (UKG Pro Learning), generate and assign organizational training requirements and track to completion
  • Administer the Citys performance review process and train supervisors how to use the software
  • Conduct Exit Interview and Separation Information meetings
  • Coordinate administration of Employee Satisfaction surveys, related workshops, and focus groups
  • Present at Phase II New Hire Orientation, Supervisor Orientation, Edvance Leadership, Edvance Trainings, etc.
  • Chair and serve on (as assigned) various meetings, committees, and focus groups
  • Research, develop, interpret, and assist with administering HR policies and procedures
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local government employment laws and regulations
  • Develop and coordinate employee programs as assigned

Qualifications

  • Education equal to at least two (2) years of college in the field of Organizational Development, HR, Instructional Design, or a closely related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience and/or training\
    • 5 years of progressive experience preferred
  • 2 years of management experience
    • peopleand/orproject management
    • orequivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver\'s License and a driving record acceptable to the City\'s insurance carrier

Necessary Skills

  • Experience developing, coordinating, and presenting trainings using a variety of instructional techniques on various platforms
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software (HRIS, training/onboarding applications, AV equipment, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to meet the required physical standards for this position(setting up tables, chairs, etc.)
  • Ability to use personal vehicle to travel for business outside of the HR department
  • Ability to pass extensive background process and pre-employment drug and audio screenings
