We are seeking a talented individual for a Vice President – Operations who has responsibility for overall strategic direction and operational excellence for assigned multi-functional operations teams. Drives the operational effectiveness in support of production, creation, and delivery of health care products or services to internal and external clients. Focus is on decreasing expenses, expanding revenues and maximizing service and value. Designs and implements operation processes to ensure successful delivery of products. Identifies opportunities to enhance productivity through increased efficiency in product delivery; ensures quality and compliance standards in the delivery of products are met and remediation plans are built/executed. Leads the way on creating effective work standards and capacity plans. Drives to enhance labor arbitrage through the effective use of vendor partners, outsourcing and offshoring.
Responsible for setting and implementing the strategy for assigned functional area(s).
Ensures initiatives are aligned with corporate goals.
Implements corporate policies and procedures.
Sets objectives, benchmarks and goals for the department heads who manage their departments.
Oversees their functional area(s) financial budget to ensure goals are met and exceeded.
Collaborates with peers and with other executives to establish strategic objectives and specific achievement milestones to move the organization towards overall goals.
Develops partnership opportunities; defines target growth goals and drives assigned functional area(s) toward achieving target growth goals.
Provides significant input into corporate strategic goals and initiatives.
Develops, negotiates and approves contracts and other agreements with partners, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
Significant legal and compliance involvement for areas of responsibility.
Significant involvement in M&A activities, including acquisition due diligence and integration.
Ensures highly productive relationships and partnerships on business and organizational initiatives.
Sets goal, monitors work, and evaluates results to ensure that departmental and organizational objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization.
Participates in and nurtures broad networks of alliances with others to exchanges knowledge and information about learning and change in support of change initiatives.
Leads process-improvement initiatives that deliver financial targets.

- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in related field preferred
Minimum Related Work Experience:
12 years related business practice area experience
5 years leadership, finance/budget experience
