We are seeking a talented individual for a Graphic Designer who provides world-class design services for health plans and pharmacy benefit providers across the country. We design and deploy email, direct mail, front end web UI, and mobile applications for millions of healthcare consumers across the country.

The HTML/CSS email designer is a hard-working individual with proficiency in building email comps and HTML on email platforms like ExactTarget, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp – or other.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the process of designing engaging, client-branded, emails – including the creation of design proofs, the configuration of HTML and CSS, and fulfillment through Eliza’s email platform.

  • Make emails mobile responsive

  • Engage, persuade, and inspire healthcare consumers with smart content design and copywriting for emails and print.

  • Collaborate with client teams – including project managers, data analysts, sales consultants, and engineers – to ensure content is timely, effective, and on brand

  • Manage Iterate on designs with the client as well as with internal content designers.

  • Test the rendering of each email on Litmus.

  • Build HTML/CSS on our email client – ExactTarget.

  • Work with Eliza’s Development and Testing teams to ensure emails are ready to launch.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite/InDesign a MUST

  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

  • Proficiency working with HTML/CSS code a MUST

  • Ability to troubleshoot coding problems

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to handle high volume of simultaneous projects accurately and on deadline

  • Experience developing content across print, mobile and web

  • Ability to work in teams

  • Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (Dreamweaver, Sketch, etc.)

  • Ability and desire to learn quickly

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction

  • Keen eye for design with attention to details

  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to handle high volume of simultaneous projects accurately and on deadline

Work Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Primarily sedentary work in a general office environment

  • Ability to communicate and exchange information

  • Ability to comprehend and interpret documents and data

  • Requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, and moving objects (up to 10 lbs.)

  • Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone and peripherals

  • May be required to work extended hours for special business needs

  • May be required to travel at least 10% of time based on business needs

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferred emphasis in Graphic Design or HTML/CSS Code

Minimum Related Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years professional experience working as a Graphic Designer and Email Developer

  • Fluent in Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ Exact Target

  • Familiarity with Sketch, Litmus

  • Print business knowledge a PLUS

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint)

  • Healthcare experience preferred but not required
