(), a multi-faceted and rapidly growing A/E firm with 20+ office locations in ten states and over 500 employees throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Northeast, is seeking a creative, talented Design Engineer - Water/Wastewater to join our existing Water-Resources/Environmental Team at our Corporate office in Baltimore, MD. Position Overview: The Design Engineer will serve on the design team for key water projects. Typical projects include studies and designs related: Water and sewer pipeline rehabilitation and replacement Pump stations Water and wastewater treatment Storm drainage systems Stormwater management structures Responsibilities: Develop design plans such as schedules and detailed phases of projects. Revise drawings and completes standard calculations used in the completion of engineering plans. Assess (or assists with assessing, depending on experience) the feasibility and soundness/validity of proposed engineering evaluations. Ensure proper quality control procedures are implemented on all projects. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field. EIT or PE preferred. Targeting 0-5 years' design experience and/or interest in water, wastewater and stormwater management/design. Willingness to get engaged in a wide range of projects including water and wastewater system studies/reports and associated design of improvements preferred. Experience with AutoCAD. Self-motivated critical thinker that is willing to work both collaboratively and independently.
