Job Description

A large financial institution in Cincinnati is looking for an IT BA to join a team in the Enterprise Content Management group. They will work closely as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams. This team is currently working on an enterprise-wide project for process automation and improvement, eliminating waste, and processing annuities. This person will be working in an agile environment to document the current state, work with developers, then write user stories on the future state.

Responsibilities Breakdown:

  * 20% working with Stakeholders

  * 40% writing requirements

  * 30% working with developers

  * 10% administrative/mentorship

  * Understands and accesses both the business domains (insurance + annuities) and technical domains (IT teams)

  * Collaborates with stakeholders and technology counterparts to deliver solutions that provide maximum value.

  * Coordinates with project team members and key partners across the enterprise to deliver high quality documentation and adhere to business analysis best practices

Deliver project deliverables that may include documentation of current state/as-is and future state/to-be; multiple types of requirements to support multiple stakeholders and multiple project delivery methodologies; and diverse types of diagrams to support architectural and data-related requirements

Skills and Requirements

· 5+ years of experience in BA

 · Soft Skills- confidence, self-starter, aspirational

 · Experience in an Agile Environment

 · Experience with the SDLC lifecycle- needs to have the ability to talk though this with team members

Basic technical understanding of SOAP, REST, or APIs · Developer/Engineer background

 · Experience in insurance industry

   Insurance-related certification (e.g., FLMI, CLU or related industry designation)

 · Experience working with Offshore teams

 · Experience working with IBM BAW

PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)®, IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) or IIBA Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA®) null
