ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Senior Product Manager at Audible, you will be responsible for supporting one or more of Audible’s products for listeners or creators. You’ll act as the voice of the customer or creator at every stage. In our strong culture of storytelling, communication skills extend to creating clear and understandable product definitions that resonate with audiences ranging from marketers to software engineers. You’ll connect the tech and business worlds, working together with data, design, technical, and business leaders in an ever-changing environment.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will...
Advocate for, and obsess over Audible’s Customers or Creators
Write and communicate functional requirements, partnering with various product, marketing, UX and insights stakeholders
Use lean development tools, like experimentation and rapid prototyping, to drive teams towards strategic product decisions
Develop and own a product roadmap, demonstrating a strong focus on KPIs and measurement
Frame and lead discussions with key business and technical stakeholder to assess opportunities, make data-driven recommendations, and build consensus ahead of important investment decisions
Be the authority on the experience that you manage
Understand your product’s strengths and weaknesses
Find the right opportunities to innovate and enhance the experience with the right combination of essential and magical
Manage dependencies and unblock your teams to optimize discovery and delivery work
Proactively communicate product metrics and insights, showcasing a deep understanding of how your features are benefiting customers and the business
Support building the long-term strategy and roadmap for your product, helping to set the vision and guidance
Drive alignment by leading tradeoff discussions that produce actionable decisions
Find the right opportunities to innovate and skillfully balance big ideas with incremental impact for your customers

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of relevant product management experience in consumer technology
Experience maintaining a product roadmap and leading delivery of software products
Demonstrated experience in agile, lean product management processes on high-velocity teams
Preferred Qualifications
Product experience with creators, rights holders, spoken word technology or in two-sided marketplaces
Go-to-market experience with consumer tech products
Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate ambiguous new ideas
Demonstrated data driven product leadership
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong collaboration skills that allow you to work with both technical and non-technical individuals
Demonstrated ability to work independently, autonomously, and cross-functionally

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
