Veralto Salesforce-ServiceMax Technical Analyst in Bengaluru, India

Main role / Job Objective :

The Business Application Team embodies the interaction between business & IT and supports the transformation to a Digital organization.

As Esko is currently transforming to a SaaS company, they are looking for a Technical Analyst to join their Business Applications team and to help them build a customer-centric company.

As a Salesforce ServiceMax Technical analyst, you will make sure that best practices are followed when developing ServiceMax solutions and its integrations, both for your own customizations as for peer review of colleagues.

You will take ownership of the technical aspects, ensuring the quality of the Salesforce ServiceMax platform.

Main responsibilities and key activities:

  • Responsible for investigation, root cause analysis and resolution of transactional issues reported from end users on processes within Salesforce, ServiceMax and/or transactions between external systems and ServiceMax.

  • Translate functional analysis into one high-quality technical IT solution at application level, taking into account established requirements, quality, budget and scope

  • In charge for the quality of the technical design that meets the functional requirements and is at the same time consistent with architectural guidelines

  • Understand the functional and non-functional requirements

  • Prepare the technical analysis in accordance with the applicable procedures and processes and ensures that this is the case is aligned with the architectural vision and application architecture and that it is sufficiently future proof

  • Develop the requirements, staying as close as possible to standard out of the box; customize if necessary

  • Deliver technical test scenarios

  • Challenge business requirements if better technical solutions make more sense in Salesforce ServiceMaxenvironment.

  • Form a bridge between the teams involved in implementation of the solution definition

  • Ensure the release process is followed, using the release tools defined

  • Perform system tests and interpret test results

  • Provide technical support throughout the implementation process

  • Participate, set up and validate POC

Qualifications and professional knowledge:

  • At least 5 years’ experience as an analyst, developer,or architect in a Salesforce and ServiceMax projects (is a must)

  • Various Salesforce and ServiceMaxcertifications nice to have.

  • Experience with Salesforce and its ecosystem: Sales & Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CPQ,

  • Experience with functional scope or processes: Sales, Service, Marketing, Opportunity, Quote, Order to cash, Product.

  • Experience with working with onsite, nearshore and offshore teams.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills to establish and maintain effective business relationships with business units and other associates

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, being able to effectively communicate clearly and concisely.  

  • Proficiency in English, both written & spoken

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relationship building skills and ability to achieve results without direct reporting relationships.

  • Desire to learn new concepts and take on new challenges 

  • Experience with AX/D365 and/or BI is a plus
