Duties : Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to define strategy and scope of

software requirements (decompose stories, design features, and prioritize tasks). Deliver new concepts and features, working alongside development peers in an agile environment. Engage and collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Technical Leads, Quality Assurance, build test automation, incorporate Quality, pair programming. Serve as an informal leader, leading code reviews and mentoring junior team members. Develop high performance single page applications, Web Api(s), and background service worker engines. Support Integration efforts with various systems and develop integrations. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Austin, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace

flexibility.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $139,464 to $160,800 per year

What you have

Job Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive, post-Bachelor’s related experience, or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of related experience.

Experience must include some experience in each of the following skills: Application Programming Interfaces products developed using RESTful concepts, C#, and .NET with a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) philosophy; Microservices (RESTful webservice APIs); ASP .NET Core/MVC framework; Angular, Messaging Queue (RabbitMQ), and OO Architecture; NoSQL (MongoDB); and CI/CD tools (Git-based) such as Git Repo, Bamboo, JMeter, or similar.
