As a Finance Senior Manager, you will be accountability for all chargeback, invoicing, billing disputes, pricing, and financial reporting for the cloud management program. Our work depends on an experienced finance manager to establish and operate with cost transparency, control, planning, and optimization in GDIT’s support of our customer. The ideal Finance Senior Manager projects high energy, strong customer facing interpersonal skills and possesses attention to detail.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Oversees all financial planning and reporting activities, including the annual planning cycles, and building accurate forecasts.

  • Approves contracts, asset acquisitions, expenditures, and headcount against approved plans.

  • Works with direct client and their customers, along with internal GDIT teams.

  • Continuously seeks out opportunities for customer experience improvements and cost reduction and partnering with operations leadership to implement the opportunities.

  • Manages and develops financial models for planning, forecasting, and reporting costs and efficiency.

  • Manages one or more small to medium sized teams responsible for the financial activities of a major program.

  • Performs root cause analysis and uncovers core issues using data, then assisting the operations on improving and creating new measures.

  • Responsible for budget planning and supports the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.

  • Works in conjunction with other teams in support of IT asset transfers.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience.

  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills including ability to implement strategic plans required.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as experience interacting with executive management and other key constituents required.

  • Excellent financial modeling, project management and strategic thinking skills required.

Location: Hybrid, 25%+ time on site in Austin TX.

Timeline: This is a contingent position, expected to start by January of 2025.

The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
